Recent Discoveries!

So, thanks to the recent snow days, I have spent a lot of time on a couple different blog sites and finding new music (well, new to my listening) that I thought I would share! The first night of the first snow storm (blizzard) I stayed at my friend, Quincee Cornelsen's house and she suggested a really awesome blog page that has bedroom/furniture makeovers & crafts that are really awesome! Better After is the blog that you can check out and I have as one of my dashboards so I can keep up with the current posts!

Last night, was the annual 53rd Grammy Awards with several performances from some of America's favorite artists! I heard a couple songs that I had yet to hear before! (Mostly because they either don't play on the radio often or not on the radio station I listen to!) 
The first one is "Not Like the Movies" by Katy Perry. This song gave me a little bittersweet type of feeling when I first heard it. After the song ended, I couldn't help but to smile and find it on youtube to give it another listen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)

Next up, if you're a country fan, you would have noticed the country stars, Lady Antebellum did the Grammys some good last night as they walked out with five Grammy awards! WHOA! They performed a couple of their songs, which one I might have heard possibly once before, but I fell in love! "American Honey" by Lady Antebellum is a sweet song that I can see myself playing over and over this summer! - Yes, I'm weird and listen to country music more in the summer time than any other time of the year, don't ask why...

Even if you the type of person who says "I'll listen to anything BUT country," I think you should take a listen because your mind might change!
